Roles and Responsibilities:
Qualified Social Worker / Experienced QSW:
- Manage a diverse caseload, including complex and challenging cases.
- Work within a co-located multi-agency team for effective communication and collaboration.
- Respond promptly to MASH contacts to secure appropriate support for children and families.
- Communicate effectively with families, partner agencies, and the public.
- Make informed threshold decisions with a strong understanding of statutory social worker functions.
Advanced Practitioner:
- Support staff through reflective and group supervision.
- Provide technical advice and guidance, promoting a learning culture.
- Contribute to quality assurance, identifying areas for development.
- Manage a reduced caseload to focus on team support and professional development.
Team Manager:
- Lead a team of social work and social care staff, including those from other agencies.
- Ensure flexible, reliable, and responsive service delivery.
- Contribute strategically to the wider development of the service.
Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS check
