Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children with disabilities, including those in need, in need of protection, and cared-for children.
- Understand and apply short break and direct payment legislation.
- Conduct home visits to gather information and assess safeguarding concerns.
- Provide services to children with disabilities and their families.
- Engage with the Courts, taking necessary statutory actions to protect children.
- Participate in duty rota cover as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Relevant experience working with children with disabilities and familiarity with statutory processes.
