Key Responsibilities:
Child Protection & Safeguarding: Assessing the needs and welfare of children involved in family court proceedings, ensuring that their safety and well-being are prioritised.
Court Work & Report Writing: Preparing and presenting reports for the family courts, including assessments, recommendations, and analysis, while adhering to legal timelines.
Direct Work with Children: Engaging with children and young people to understand their wishes, feelings, and perspectives, and ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
Inter-agency Collaboration: Working closely with other professionals, including solicitors, the judiciary, and local authorities, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support for children and families.
Case Management: Managing a caseload of complex and sensitive cases, demonstrating excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
