Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children and Families Social Worker with expertise in child protection to join our dynamic team. This is a vital role where you will work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure that children are safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for children and families in line with statutory frameworks and policies.
- Undertake child protection investigations and manage cases requiring child protection plans.
- Provide direct support to children and families, focusing on their safety, wellbeing, and development.
- Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver a multi-agency approach to child protection.
- Attend case reviews, core group meetings, and legal proceedings as required.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare high-quality reports for court and other purposes.
Qualifications and registrations:
- Qualified Social Worker
- SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
