Responsibilities:
- Attend assessment sessions and panels, with a focus on in-person engagement with children and families.
- Play a pivotal role in recruiting, assessing, and supporting adoptive families, ensuring a seamless journey for both children and adopters.
- Maintain case responsibility for adopters throughout the matching and post-placement phases.
- While prior adoption experience is preferred, a strong background in working with children and families is essential.
- Demonstrate transferable skills in assessment and report writing, particularly for panels and court proceedings.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Registration with Social Work England
- Social Work degree
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children is essential
