If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Social Worker to join Tameside Council's Safeguarding and Support Team. This is a full-time role offering upto £43.00 hourly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Child Protection and Safeguarding: Undertake risk assessments and implement child protection plans to ensure children at risk of harm are protected. Take immediate action when necessary to safeguard children and ensure their well-being.
• Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex cases, working with children and families to deliver care and support plans that address their needs and promote positive outcomes.
• Support for Families: Work with families to provide tailored interventions and support, aiming to strengthen family relationships and prevent the need for children to enter care.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with health, education, and other social care professionals to ensure that all aspects of the child's welfare are addressed and that services are delivered in a coordinated way.
• Court Work: Prepare and present reports for court hearings and attend court proceedings as required, ensuring that children's best interests are represented.
• Review and Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor the progress of child protection plans and ensure that children's safety and welfare remain a priority throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
