If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Duty Team in Wigan Council. This is a full-time role offering a range up to £38 hourly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake initial assessments and respond to urgent referrals
- Work closely with families, partner agencies, and internal teams
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
- Complete Section 47 enquiries and initiate care proceedings if required
- Maintain accurate, timely case records and reports
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
