Are you a qualified Social Worker with a passion for quality assurance and service improvement? Birmingham Trust is looking for a Quality Assurance & Improvement Officer to join the Duty & Assessment Team, ensuring the highest standards in safeguarding and social care practice.
About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance & Improvement Officer, you will play a key role in:
Monitoring and evaluating social work practice within the Duty & Assessment Team.
Conducting audits and assessments to ensure high-quality safeguarding services.
Supporting the development of best practices through coaching and mentoring.
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for better outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and Social Care England standards.
Working collaboratively with managers and frontline social workers to drive service excellence.
What You Need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Registration with Social Care England.
Strong experience in quality assurance, auditing, or service improvement.
In-depth knowledge of Duty & Assessment procedures and safeguarding policies.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement effective change.
A commitment to enhancing service delivery and improving outcomes for children and families.
