We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to join a dynamic team working on an exciting civil engineering project based in West London. Key Responsibilities:
- Package Management: Oversee and manage small civil engineering packages, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, manage their performance, and handle day-to-day queries, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Cost Control: Assist in cost planning and monitoring, ensuring the project stays on budget and within agreed financial parameters.
- Procurement Support: Assist with procurement processes, including preparing tender documents and managing the selection of subcontractors.
- Contract Administration: Ensure that contract terms are adhered to, managing any necessary variations and claims.
- Reporting: Regularly update senior management on project progress, budgets, and any potential risks or issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in subcontract management and package oversight
- Excellent understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred but not essential).
