Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team. This role requires a strong background in NEC forms of contracts and civil engineering. Rail experience is preferably but not a necessity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and value is maximised.
- Estimating and Tendering: Develop detailed cost estimates and participate in the tendering process for various project packages.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation, including variations, claims, and final accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to project managers and senior management.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess costs, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of services and materials.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial and contractual requirements are met.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in quantity surveying
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, quantity surveying software)
- Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
