Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of quantity surveying on a designated project, ensuring costs are controlled and value is maximized.
Assisting with the preparation and management of tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Conducting detailed cost analysis to support project delivery and financial reporting.
Processing and managing subcontractor payments, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and project budgets.
Collaborating with the wider commercial team to support business objectives and project requirements.
Engaging with customer care to ensure high standards of service and satisfaction are maintained.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and advising on potential financial risks.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within a main contracting background.
Strong knowledge of tender processes, cost control, and financial reporting.
Experience working with customer care, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide accurate reports and recommendations.
Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is desirable.
