Looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Maintenance Contractor based in Nottingham
We're looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding Planned works and Decent Homes Projects
Responsibilities:
... - Managing project budgets and costs for kitchen and bathroom upgrades, window and door replacements, roofing works, and external refurbishments
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts to ensure cost efficiency and financial control
- Reviewing contractor applications, payments, and cost reports to ensure accurate forecasting
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates and quality workmanship
- Ensuring compliance with NHF Schedule of Rates and other contractual obligations
- Working closely with project managers, clients, and contractors to maintain smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing and planned maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Decent Homes refurbishment works
- Experience working with NHF Schedule of Rates and contract frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
