Requirements

• 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent, one of which should be in English or relevant NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Minimum 1 year paid or voluntary experience of working in a Health Care or Education setting
• Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
• Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
• Ability to build rapport with ease
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographers in the smooth and efficient running of imaging lists

• Ensure that the rooms and relevant equipment are prepared in readiness for patient examinations.

• Assist the Radiographers and Radiologists as required throughout the examination.

• Collect patients from reception / waiting areas and ensure that they are given any
  assistance required before, during and after examination. Depending on the specific
  procedure, patients may require to be chaperoned.

• Perform IV Cannulations in line with Trust Policy for Band 3 Staff and service needs.

• Assist in ensuring accurate record keeping under Ionising

• Ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained in the examination rooms.

• Ensure that the examination rooms are maintained in a clean and tidy state.

• Ensure that the working environment is safe, and ensure that all defects, faults and
  incidents are reported to the relevant Line Manager.
