Role: R & D Laboratory Technician (temp role)
Pay rate: £24,000 per year
Location: Witney, OX29 0YL
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday: 8am-4pm
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Randstad is looking for an Entry level laboratory technician to work with one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. You will be responsible for supporting processes conducted within the R&D sensor laboratories as instructed by Senior Laboratory Technicians or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support across multiple laboratory areas as required.
- Provides complex and detailed information/feedback to R&D Sensor/Senior Lab Technicians, Laboratory Co-ordinater and other technical groups within the department.
- Carry out routine laboratory activities such as setup of equipment, preparation of testing solutions, and daily routine cleaning activities.
- Support the setup and clean down of experimental tests that are to be conducted by Senior Lab Technicians.
- Ensure that sensor laboratories are always compliant and audit ready.
- Assist in filing and organising laboratory paperwork and archiving activities.
Requirements:
- Some Laboratory and/or Operations experience would be of benefit but not essential.
- All training provided.
- Secondary level education in English & Mathematics.
