We are currently looking for a Receptionist who can assist the Customer Service and Transformation team at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. This role is to provide customer service through call handling in a public sector organization.
Role: Receptionist
Location: Campus East Office, Welwyn Garden City
Pay Rate: £12.59 ph
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift Pattern: 37 hours a week, Mon - Fri
Job Type: TBC with Manager min of 1 day in the office
Annual leave: 28 Days + Bank Holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide a telephony service for all general callers with routine enquiries coming in
- Ensuring all information is accurate
- Receiving and checking of information on new queries received over the telephone
Experience Required:
- Experience in Customer Service/Contact Centre
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst managing conflict demands and interruptions
- Advisory, guiding and persuasive skills to deal with difficult situations and customer
