Conwy Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Recycling Depot Operative to join our team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP.

Hourly Rate: £11.59 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm)

End date: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and Processing: Sort and process a variety of recyclable materials, ensuring proper segregation and preparation for onward recycling.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and transport them to designated areas.
- General Depot Operations: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the depot.
- Working with Machinery: Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment is desirable.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
