We are currently supporting an independent fostering agency to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to lead their team. The successful can expect to receive a strong salary ranging up to £60,000 depending on experience.

... - As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fostering service, ensuring that all aspects of our work meet regulatory and statutory requirements.
- You will lead a team of dedicated staff and work closely with foster carers, local authorities, and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service that prioritizes the well-being and outcomes of children and young people.
- Lead and manage the fostering team to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality services in line with the agency's values, fostering legislation, and OFSTED requirements.
- Ensure the agency complies with all relevant regulations, including the National Minimum Standards for Fostering and OFSTED guidelines.
- Take responsibility for preparing for inspections and maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee the supervision, development, and support of foster carers to ensure they are equipped to provide stable, safe, and nurturing environments for children.
- Work with the senior management team to implement the agency's strategic goals and contribute to the growth and improvement of the service.
- Act as the designated safeguarding lead, ensuring robust safeguarding procedures are in place and that all staff and foster carers are trained and adhere to safeguarding practices.
- Oversee the recruitment, assessment, and approval process for new foster carers, ensuring they meet the agency's standards and values. Promote carer retention through ongoing support and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective multi-agency working and positive outcomes for children.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent and current registration with Social Work England.
- At least 5 years' post-qualifying experience in a fostering, children's services, or social care setting, with 2+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fostering regulations, OFSTED standards, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with staff, foster carers, children, and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management: Holding or working towards this qualification is desirable. If you do not already hold it, the company will enrol you on the course and support you in completing it.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a fostering agency.
