Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the field of mental health care? If so, we want you to join our team as a Band 6 RMN working within our Acute Mental Health Wards.
About Us:
Randstad is a preferred supplier of temporary nursing staff to NHS Trusts and we currently have a number of opportunities working on a part time or full time basis across Pennine NHS Trust. Their Acute Mental Health Wards play a critical role in providing care and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. We are seeking a Band 6 RMN to join our dedicated team and contribute to the well-being of their patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Acute Mental Health Wards.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
- Offer support and education to patients and their families to promote recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience in mental health nursing is desirable but not essential.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
