We're seeking a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join our team in Blackpool and Blackburn! You will have the opportunity to engage and motivate KS3 and KS4 students, helping them explore religious beliefs and values. The daily rates depend on your qualifications and experience.
In this role, you will lead the students in exploring a range of religious teachings. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages reflection, discussion, and critical thinking. You will also inspire students to think critically about the world around them, helping them grow.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning

Personal attributes:

- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
