We're looking for qualified and accredited counsellors to join our team, providing remote support to university students, specifically in the evenings. This role is all short-term based interventions to encourage students on their path of self development and find solutions to manage their anxieties and stresses. What you'll do:
- Provide one-on-one therapeutic counselling support to students experiencing emotional and mental health issues.
- Focus on short-term, five-session interventions to help students develop self-management skills and find solutions for anxiety, stress, transition challenges, procrastination, exam panic, and other common student concerns.
- Empower students to build self-help skills using evidence-based tools and techniques.
- Work closely with students to create a supportive and confidential environment.

Requirements:
- Registered Member BACP (Accredited)
- Monthly clinical supervision to maintain professional standards
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience working in a university setting
- Experience managing a caseload of clients
- Ability to quickly assess and prioritize student needs
- Strong risk assessment and management skills
