We offer both full-time contracts and sessional work, providing opportunities to work with various services and support young people with complex emotional and challenging behaviour. Key Responsibilities
As a successful child residential support worker, you will:
- Collaborate effectively with a team of child support workers
- Provide 24-hour care to vulnerable young people
- Support service users with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties
- Accompany service users to community activities and school daily
- Uphold professional boundaries and maintain a professional demeanor
- Adhere to National Care Standards
- Work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and the Christmas period
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have prior experience working in a residential setting with young people
- Demonstrate flexibility in your role
- Possess strong communication skills
- Be registered under the PVG scheme
- Hold a full driving licence
