What you'll do:
- Provide direct support to children and young people: You'll work closely with children in a residential setting, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance in their daily lives.
- Build strong relationships: You'll create a supportive and positive environment, fostering their emotional well-being and promoting their development.
- Contribute to a safe and structured environment: You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children, implementing routines and procedures to maintain a positive living environment.
- Collaborate with a team: You'll work closely with other Residential Childcare Workers, supervisors, and professionals to develop personalized support plans for each child.
- Embrace a rewarding challenge: You'll face a variety of situations and challenges, but also experience the immense satisfaction of helping children thrive.
What you'll bring:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues
- Patience, understanding, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Min. 6 Months relevant experience working with children, such as in childcare or youth work
