Role: Residential Support Worker
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Pay/Salary: £12 per hour + £70 per sleep-in

The Role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join the team. Your responsibilities will include:
... - Supervising and protecting children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Participating in domestic tasks such as shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
- Engaging children in meaningful activities both inside and outside the home.
- Assisting with educational tasks and the development of independence skills.
- Communicating effectively with team members, children's families, and other professionals.
- Attending and contributing to team meetings and training sessions.
What You Will Need
- Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to work full-time shifts, including weekends and waking nights.
- Professional attitude and ability to serve as a positive role model.
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or a willingness to work towards it.

- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently.
- Team player with a commitment to personal and professional development.
- Understanding of adolescent behavior and ability to manage challenging situations.
