Role Overview:
As a Sales Support Specialist, you'll be the backbone of the sales team, providing essential support to ensure smooth and effective sales operations. You'll manage everything from order processing and customer inquiries to coordinating between teams to guarantee that clients receive timely, accurate, and proactive service. With your keen attention to detail and customer-focused mindset, you'll help to not only meet but exceed clients' expectations, creating loyal partnerships and driving business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing & Tracking: Handle incoming orders with precision and speed, managing each step to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Inquiries: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, offering solutions and support to assist with product information, order status, pricing, and availability.
- Sales Team Support: Provide administrative and operational support to sales representatives, assisting with quotes, contracts, and sales documentation.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and address any potential supply issues.
- Data Management: Accurately maintain customer records and sales data in CRM systems, generating insightful reports to help the team optimise sales strategies.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a bridge between sales, finance, and production teams, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of any customer-related issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to enhance the efficiency and quality of our sales support processes, creating a streamlined experience for our clients.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, with experience in sales support or customer service (experience in medical devices or healthcare preferred).
- Customer-Centric: Passion for supporting customers and creating a positive, responsive experience in all interactions.
- Organised & Detail-Oriented: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, anticipating needs, and proactively solving problems.
