We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Independent Living Officer to join our team in Welwyn Garden City.
In this fulfilling role, you will:
- Champion the independence, dignity, and well-being of our tenants.
- Provide personalized support and guidance to elderly, disabled, and at-risk individuals, empowering them to live full and meaningful lives.
- Develop creative solutions to complex challenges and advocate for the needs of our tenants.
- Collaborate effectively with residents, external partners, and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Essential Experience: Previous experience working with elderly, disabled, or at-risk individuals, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
- Safeguarding Expertise: Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices for vulnerable adults and children.
- Exceptional Assessment Skills: Proven ability to assess complex support needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving with a talent for finding creative and effective solutions.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and advocate for tenant needs.
- IT Proficiency: Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and relevant systems for data entry and reporting.
- Valid UK Driving License: Essential for traveling to various locations.
What We Offer:
