Some of your key responsibilities:
- To assist with the efficient running of the office, reception and undertake general office duties/assisting as required
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a timely and efficient manner, regularly checking the answer phone for messages whilst on reception and deal with accordingly
- To ensure that the main entrance and office areas are kept tidy, notices and parent forms are up to date in order to provide a clean and welcoming environment
- Maintain effective, up to date filing systems easily accessible as required
- Adhere to secure working practices when managing visitors to the school
- Manage distribution and collation of emails received through reception mailbox to relevant staff
- Record Parent/Guardian absence calls on SIMs and ensure that reason for absence and any other additional information is fully documented
- To be aware of and assume the appropriate level of responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and to report any concerns in accordance with the school's safeguarding policies and undertake an enhanced DBS

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Proof of right to work in the UK together with a few other documents
- 2 recent professional references
- capacity to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic setting
- Must be a confident user of IT systems who records data effectively and accurately
- Experience using MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
