About the Role
A secondary school in Wakefield is seeking a highly organised and efficient School Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time position, starting immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including exclusion paperwork, general admin tasks, and supporting school operations.

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £18.50 per hour
Essential Requirements
... - Previous experience in an administrative role (school experience desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management systems (e.g., SIMS).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Managing and processing exclusion paperwork.
- Handling general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Responding to enquiries from staff, students, parents, and external agencies.
- Preparing reports, letters, and correspondence as required.
- Coordinating school communications, including emails and newsletters.
- Assisting with organising school events and meetings.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Providing administrative support to teachers and senior leadership.
- Assisting with any other administrative duties as required.
- Supporting the pastoral team with student welfare matters.
