Randstad is currently recruiting an Art Technician who has a good understanding on how to pick up various tasks.
You will be required to work from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday-Friday, as this is a full-time position that starts soon.

Responsibilities for this position:
... - To provide technician support for the school
- To work to raise expectations and standards within our community
- To be responsible for the safe storage and transit of materials and equipment.
- Maintaining and updating current subject specific knowledge
- To assist in the running of the Art Department
- To be responsible for the content of skills demonstrations or help given by technicians in the workshops
- To play a full part in the life of the school community supporting its distinctive mission and ethos and actively promoting its policies and practices
- To be responsible for ensuring that staff, are trained in the correct and safe use/handling of all subject materials and equipment

Requirement skills for this role:
- Experience of working as an Art Technician in a school environment (desirable)
- Art qualification
- Right to work in the UK (ESSENTIAL)
- 2 recent professional references
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families
- Empathy and a supportive approach to addressing student and family concerns
- Proficiency in using relevant computer software and databases for attendance tracking
