This school is looking for a dedicated, diligent and highly detail-oriented Attendance Officer. The position will begin as soon as possible and the candidate should expect to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
... - Follow up any students reported absence without explanation with a text or call to parents/caregivers prior to midday
- Record all explained absences, trips and roll information from relief classes on SIMS database
- Manage accurate computer records of attendance in SIMS Database
- Follow up of absentees & monitor absentee information in the school SIMS database
- Identify all students reported absent during period one and two
- Record all reported absences from parent's phone calls and notes

Requirements for this role:
- Right to work in the UK (Essential)
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get new one
- 2 recent professional references
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Previous Attendance Officer experience, preferably within a school environment
- Focus on the impact and outcomes of attendance activities
