We are looking for a hardworking, committed School Attendance Officer who pays close attention to detail. The position will begin as soon as possible and the candidate should expect to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
- Maintain accurate computer records of attendance in SIMS Database
- Follow up of absentees & monitor absentee information in the school SIMS database
- Identify all students reported absent during period one and two
- Record all reported absences from parents phone calls and notes
- Follow up any students reported absence without explanation with a text to parents/caregivers prior to midday
- Records all explained absences, trips and roll information from relief classes on SIMS database
- Continue to monitor reported absentees throughout the day
Requirements for this role:
- Right to work in the UK (Essential)
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get new one
- Recent experience working as an School Attendance Officer, preferably in a school setting
- Pay attention to the effects and results of attendance tasks
- 2 recent professional references
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
