We are looking for a committed Behaviour Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with students, teachers and other staff to provide essential support to those who need extra help with their learning.

• Can remain calm under pressure and respond with empathy
• Should be confident in setting boundaries and using positive reinforcement
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Supervise and monitor the movement of students around the site during lesson times returning students who are absent without permission to classrooms
• Supervise students across the site during lunch time
• Support the operation and monitoring of the Internal Exclusion and Restorative rooms as appropriate
• Support the effective operation of the on-call system to remove students from lessons as necessary
• Under supervision provide mentoring and tailored literacy and numeracy catch-up interventions which are evidenced based and therapeutic to students on a 1:1 and small group basis
