We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Officer to join the school's team. You will be responsible for managing and analysing school data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data records, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. You will be expected to maintain data systems and generate reports.
This is a full time role and you will be expected to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Your role will include:
... - Managing and maintaining the school's data systems and databases
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data records
- Generating and analysing data reports for senior leadership and staff
- Supporting data-driven decision-making processes
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR)
- Providing training and support to staff on data systems and usage
- Collaborating with IT and administrative teams to streamline data processes
- Handling data queries and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Who we're looking for:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in school data management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Experience in data management or a similar role, desirable
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to complete a new DBS
- Relevant professional experience with 2 recent professional references
