We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English as an Additional Language (EAL) Lead to drive and develop our whole-school approach to supporting pupils who speak English as an additional language. You'll play a key role in shaping an inclusive learning environment where all students feel seen, supported and set up for success.

What we're looking for:

• Eligibility to work in UK
• Enhanced DBS or willing to get new one
• A qualified teacher or experienced practitioner with a background in EAL / ESL / TESOL
• Proven success supporting EAL learners in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of second language acquisition and differentiation strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the development and delivery of the school's EAL strategy
• Assess EAL learners and create tailored support plans
• Provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
• Support staff with EAL-inclusive teaching strategies and resources
• Monitor progress and report on student outcomes
• Build strong relationships with families and external agencies
• Celebrate linguistic diversity across the school community
