We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join this vibrant school team. The position will begin as soon as possible and the candidate should expect to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
... - Assist in shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and managing the recruitment process
- Support recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and managing candidate applications
- Manage the induction process for new staff, ensuring they receive necessary training, documentation and support as they settle into the school
- Ensure that all employee records are accurate, up to date and compliant with data protection laws
- Ensure the accurate processing of payroll for school staff, working closely with finance to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time

Requirements for this role:
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the UK
- An up-to-date enhanced DBS check on the update service, or a willingness to apply for a new one
- Experience in an HR Officer role, ideally within a school setting
- Focus on the impact and outcomes of HR activities
- Two recent professional references
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A solution-focused attitude, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and improving systems
