We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and diligent individual to join the highly valued IT Support team of this school.
This is a Permanent role with the specified hours being 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Some of your main responsibilities:
... - Upgrading the school MIS system (SIMS/FMS)
- Manage and update the school's IT contracts and licences
- To support the staff in training which will help their knowledge and use of IT within the school
- Manage the school's Office 365 and Google Suite environment
- Assist in the production of documentation for hardware and software
- Identify possible ICT requirements and develop outline specifications for solutions
- To maintain and develop the school's ICT resources for safe, effective use by pupils and staff
- Hardware repairs and replacement (Windows PC's, Chromebook, and iPads)
- Distribute staff Identification Badges
- Proactively and routinely check classrooms and equipment are ready to be used
- Relocate office/classroom IT equipment as and when moves are required
- Ensuring accounts are accessible and have access to the required shared drives and groups

Required skills for this role:
- Prior experience in IT support or a relevant field is required, ideally within a school and/or the education sector
- Eligibility to work in the UK (This is essential)
- DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and to work to, and meet, deadlines
- 2 proven relevant references
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a very busy environment and adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances/situations
- Excellent record of punctuality and attendance
- In discharging the duties of the post have regard to the provision of the Health and Safety at work legislation
