We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and diligent individual to join the highly valued IT Support team of this school.
This position will be full-time for the first three months, but most likely for longer. The normal working hours will be from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, and you must be available five days a week.

Some of the responsibilities to be considered for this role:
- To provide support to all system users and peripheral hardware including installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment and software, including student laptops
- To maintain a complete and accurate asset record of all equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including installing basic software packages and setting common options
- To keep the helpdesk up to date and ensure issues are resolved quickly and urgent tasks are prioritised
- Supporting, configuring and installing Teams IP phones and liaising with facilities regarding future telephone system upgrades
- To work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and pupils with any hardware or software issues, via email, phone and in person
- Identifying IT service improvements and installing laptops/computer as needed
- Identify possible ICT requirements and develop outline specifications for solutions
- To maintain and develop the school's ICT resources for safe, effective use by pupils and staff
The required skills for this position are listed below:
- Prior experience in IT support or a relevant field is required, ideally within a school and/or the education sector
- Eligibility to work in the UK (essential)
- DBS on a update service is a must or willingness to get a new one
- Provide specific references
- Ability to understand the customer perspective and work collaboratively with pupils, teachers and parents
- Problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions to IT problems
- The ability to work as part of a team and be proactive
- Proven record of maintaining efficient IT systems ideally in a school setting
- High level of team, interpersonal and communication skills
- A logical, calm, organised approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage time effectively, multitasking and working to tight deadlines
- A high level of initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to work in a collaborative manner
