We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join this vibrant and inclusive school in Newham. You will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to reach their full potential in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Updated service or willing to apply for one
- Need the SEN TA to be available for 5 days in a week
- Must have worked with SEN schools or SEN Children for at least 6 months
- Willing to work Long- Term/ Full-Time
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
