We are seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive Senior Admin Officer to join this vibrant school team. The position will begin as soon as possible and the candidate should expect to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring all systems are efficient and well-maintained
- Organise and manage calendars for senior leaders and key staff members, scheduling meetings, events and appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls and postal correspondence, ensuring that important matters are addressed promptly
- Lead and manage a team of administrative assistants or clerks, ensuring that they meet deadlines and perform their duties efficiently
- Help implement and maintain administrative policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions
Requirements for this role:
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the UK
- An up-to-date enhanced DBS check on the update service, or a willingness to apply for a new one
- Experience in an Finance Officer role, ideally within a school setting
- Focus on the impact and outcomes of Finance activities
- Two recent professional references
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A solution-focused attitude, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and improving systems
