Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance for practical lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts, or other relevant subjects.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and manage laboratory, workshop, or classroom equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Resource Procurement: Assist in the procurement and inventory management of materials and resources needed for practical sessions.
- Health and Safety: Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in laboratories, workshops, or relevant learning environments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of practical activities and projects, offering technical expertise and guidance as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge related to relevant subjects and equipment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
