Responsibilities
... - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the UK curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Utilise effective teaching strategies that promote active participation.
- Adaptability to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all students.
- Flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism.
- Patience in interactions with a variety of students and situations, with a calm behaviour.
- Responsive to coaching and feedback.
- Empathy to understand the needs and challenges of students and being able to relate to them on a personal level.
- Resilience to manage challenging behaviour
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- The dedication and enthusiasm to teach Science.
