We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Harrogate. This role is full-time, starting in January and continuing until July 2025, with part-time applications also welcomed. You will primarily teach KS3 Science with some KS4 responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure they reach their potential.
- Support and inspire students to develop a love for Science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
