About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring the next generation of scientists, fostering a love of discovery and exploration within students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4), with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 (KS5) depending on your specialism and experience.
- Creating a stimulating and interactive learning environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and a passion for the sciences.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalised learning strategies to support individual needs.
- Collaborating with a supportive team of Science teachers, sharing best practices, and contributing to departmental development.
- Promoting a love of science that extends beyond the classroom and inspires students to pursue STEM-related pathways.
About You:
- You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Science.
- You have a strong understanding of the Science curriculum at the secondary level and experience in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- You possess excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- You are passionate about making science exciting and accessible to students of all abilities.
