We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds on a part-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and interactive lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Science.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting students in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the varying needs of students, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with the science department to enhance the delivery of science education and participate in departmental meetings.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve academically.
- Maintain classroom management in line with school policies and procedures.
