Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across various key stages. You will play a pivotal role in sparking students' curiosity, nurturing scientific inquiry, and helping them achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics that captivate students' imaginations.
- Cultivate a Curious Classroom: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to participate and explore.
- Personalise Learning: Tailor teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive.
- Monitor and Motivate: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
- Innovate the Curriculum: Contribute to the development of the science curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources.
- Collaborate and Share: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning.
- Enrich the Experience: Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
Requirements:
- A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Science.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school.
