The Role: Secondary Design Teacher (Robotics and Programming)
Responsibilities
- Provide a high quality educational experience for all students as a Design Faculty (VEX) Robotics and (Python) Programming Specialist.
- The ability to teach computer science and/or design and technology up to IBDP level would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
- Exhibit knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept based learning across Design at IB Middle Years Programme 1-5 (Year 7 - 11).
- Exhibit enthusiasm to teach Year 6 and 7 as part of a future Middle School initiative.
- Facilitate regular wellbeing sessions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years posts PGCE or QTS teaching experience and a degree in the subject taught.
- Capable of teaching across the Secondary age group
- Outstanding subject knowledge
- A proven track record of exceptional teaching and student engagement.
- Passion for inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.
- A commitment to co-curricular activities and performance opportunities.
