The Role: Secondary Design Teacher (Robotics and Programming)

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality educational experience for all students as a Design Faculty (VEX) Robotics and (Python) Programming Specialist.
• The ability to teach computer science and/or design and technology up to IBDP level would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
• Exhibit knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept based learning across Design at IB Middle Years Programme 1-5 (Year 7 - 11).
• Exhibit enthusiasm to teach Year 6 and 7 as part of a future Middle School initiative.
• Facilitate regular wellbeing sessions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years posts PGCE or QTS teaching experience and a degree in the subject taught.
• Capable of teaching across the Secondary age group
• Outstanding subject knowledge
• A proven track record of exceptional teaching and student engagement.
