Yangon is Myanmar's largest city and its economic hub. It's a fascinating city which blends British heritage with Burmese, Chinese and Indian influences. It's a typical bustling Asian city. It is very well known for its colonial architecture and is a real mix of old and new as the city has developed with the influx of private industry and investment and the population has now reached 5 million. Since this school was founded in 2009, it has experienced a rapid increase in student numbers and in 2013 moved to new premises. Class sizes are small and an emphasis is placed on sporting activities. The school follows the British National Curriculum from Nursery through to Secondary where students complete IGCSEs and A-Levels. Their aim is to provide a holistic education and therefore, provide varied and interesting extracurricular activities.
