This independent educational LLC, is fully owned by the Oman Development Foundation (ODF). Founded in 2002, the school has grown from a small facility to a thriving learning environment for over 700 students. The school moved into a brand new facility in 2018, offering a modern and inspiring learning space.
Location Overview:
Oman is a welcoming and stable country with beautiful scenery, stunning beaches, and a rich culture. Sur is the second wealthiest city in Oman, with a population of around 120,000. The old town and neighborhood of Al-Ayjah offer breathtaking coastal views. Sur is also a convenient base for exploring nearby beauty spots like Tiwi and the turtle reserve at Ras Al Jinz. It is approximately 180kms southeast of Muscat, the capital city, and easily accessible by a modern highway.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree (relevant to teaching subject) and Teaching Qualification.
- Experience of UK curriculum desirable, but strong adaptable teachers who do not have this will be considered.
- Previous EAL experience advantageous.
- Able to deliver active and engaging lessons.
- Display an energetic, positive attitude to create a warm and engaging atmosphere to advance students' physical, mental, and social development.
To be successful in your application, you should:
be a fully qualified and/or licensed teacher
be able to pass police checks and background checks including references
be a proficient English speaker
possess good classroom management skills
be a citizen of the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA or Canada (to meet visa requirements)
remain open minded, resilient and keen to contribute to the future success of the school
