What you'll be doing:
- Leading the way: Oversee the construction of sections of complex projects involving highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks.
- Delivering Quality: Ensure work is executed to the highest standards, meeting project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues, implement solutions, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Teamwork & Communication: Coordinate with subcontractors, manage site teams, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed site records and produce comprehensive progress reports.
What you'll bring:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Section Engineer in Highways and Civil Infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on drainage, earthworks, and/or groundworks.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of relevant design and construction standards, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks best practices.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: A keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential.
