We're in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our Preston team, where you will motivate and guide KS3 and KS4 students. This exciting opportunity offers a daily pay rate between £155 and £230, depending on your teaching experience, qualifications, and expertise.
Your role will involve designing and delivering a curriculum that covers essential scientific principles in biology, chemistry, and physics, encouraging students to think critically and apply their knowledge. You will create a supportive learning environment that promotes experimentation, exploration, and collaboration, allowing students to develop their scientific skills and understanding.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
