About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join an SEN setting in Harrogate. In this full-time role, you will support children with SEMH needs, providing tailored interventions, classroom support, and emotional guidance.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
... - A relevant qualification (e.g., HLTA, Level 3 TA, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A full UK driving licence.
- Team Teach certification (preferred).
- A background in psychology, primary education, or EYFS (advantageous).
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management.
- Delivering targeted interventions to individuals or small groups.
- Promoting positive relationships and developing student's social and emotional skills.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Ensuring a consistent and proactive approach to managing behaviour and emotional well-being.
